If you are trying too hard to be positive or be motivated all the time, clearly you are doing it wrong. Your emotions & feelings have covered up the self-motivation, that inspiration you’re born with. And you deserve to get that motivation back in life. 

Life is not always as sweet as we see it on Instagram. Lack of motivation often holds us back from doing things that really matter. We are often consumed in the quest of finding motivation within ourselves.

Despite the technological upgrades, more often than not we forget to upgrade our mind & our spirit. It feels like we are always on ground zero. Making no progress at all. Nor mentally nor physically nor socially. The worst part is, we start doubting our existence. 

And you know what? It’s completely ok to through these types of emotions. Because within these emotions lies immense potential. Potential to a breakthrough in life. We need to unlock this potential. Here is how you can & must unlock the hidden gem. 

Don’t Look For Motivation, Look For Perspective

Motivation is overrated. Firstly what you need is the ability to think better, not motivation. 

“Constant evolving is the name of the game”

When your thoughts are of constant fear, constant insecurity, you need something else to focus on. Someone to tell you that it’s all going to be ok, someone to tell you that it’s ok to fail. 

A habit or an activity that will enable you to think better in times of crisis is a lifetime profitable habit. The objective is to focus on the now. Focus more on the good than the bad.

Reading can give you that perspective, exercising can give you that perspective, walking around your neighborhood along with your thoughts can give you that perspective. And so many activities like that. Talking to the humans you trust as well. 

You need to find your perspective activity, which will enable you to think better, act better & let you be one with yourself. Soon you’ll realize, the situation you are in right now it’s not that actually bad. It will pass like any other phase, like any other season.

Choose Faith Not Fear

In all reality, you are only left with two choices at the end of the day. Every person in this world has these two choices. And neither faith nor fear will discriminate with anyone it comes across. Because these are just emotions. The power to choose in which emotional space you want to belong is in your hands.

If you don’t know him, he was a Holocaust Survivor. He survived the Nazi Camp with not even subcutaneous fat left on his body. A Nazi Camp, where most prisoners were victims of constant overthinking spiral, fear, brutality, vanished from all human rights.

He survived from a prison cell where somedays in order to save a dying person’s life, other prisoners would give their one time a day ration of a half piece of bread to the person who needed it the most that day. 

Because nobody knew who would wake up the next day & who wouldn’t.

Finding motivations is not as difficult as taking the first step. There is so much resistance within us. The resistance of fear, the resistance of insecurity, the resistance of excuses. But all the types of resistance will continue to grow if you don’t break this chain. 

Stop creating your own version of the reality in your mind, stop presuming outcomes that have not taken place. Your current reality does not determine your future, the actions that you take today will definitely determine your future. 

Just take that first step so that your future self & current self can feel proud about how courageous you are.
